Obituary of Frances Anderson

Frances Anderson -BARBERTON Frances Marie Anderson, 94, went home to be with the Lord on January 30 at Pleasant View Care Center in Barberton. Born in Barberton on January 15, 1916 to the late George and Mary Hanzel, Frances had been a lifetime Barberton resident. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Bricker; brothers George and Bob and sisters Marie, Antoinette, Margaret. He is survived by her husband Ray of Barberton and her stepsons Tom (Roberta) of Brecksville, John (Kathie) of Farmington Hills, MI, and Paul (Debbie) of Fairlawn, OH; brothers Dr. Frank (Jean) Hanzel of Manchester, Ed (Norma) Hanzel of Barberton, and Albert Hanzel of Indianapolis, IN, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Barberton. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
