Obituary of John T. Ramian

John T. Ramian John T. Ramian, 60, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2010 at the Ridgewood Health Care Center in Copley. Born in Akron on December 30, 1949 to the late Rudolph and Stella Ramian, John had been a lifetime area resident. He was a 1967 graduate of Garfield High School. John went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron and later earned his MBA from Kent State University. He was a retiree of the Bridgestone-Firestone Corp. and was the former owner of the Ido Cafe. John was currently self-employed as a CPA. He was an associate member of the Akron FOP Lodge #6. John is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Stephanie and Michael McNally of Hudson; nephew Bryan McNally of Columbus, and niece Lauren (Christopher) Carr of Sydney, Australia; uncle Jerry (Catherine) Ramian of Akron; 'Papa John's kids' Michael, Justin, and Nikki Phillips. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
