Obituary of Helen Elder

Helen Elder, 80, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was born in Akron, worked for the Summit County Court System and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by husband, William; brothers, Wilfred, Donald, Roy and Robert Gill; sisters, Lucille Thompson and Mitzi (Steve) Bigach; sisters-in-law, Phil Gill, Luella, Agnes and Ada Elder; and brothers-in-law, James, Guy and Marion Elder. She is survived by son, David M.; sisters-in-law, Lynn and Jean Gill; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron and at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Fr. Anthony Suso officiating. Interment at Nashville Cemetery in Nashville, Ohio. The family will receive friends Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
