Obituary of Harry F. Daly

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Harry F. Daly, 87, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, at the Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls. Born in Elyria, OH on October 18, 1922 to the late Frank and Rose Daly, Harry had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for most of his life. Harry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. He served his country as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division during WWII. He was employed by The General Tire & Rubber Co., retiring in 1982 with over 15 years of service. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his son Dennis. he is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary of Cuyahoga Falls; sons and daughter-in-law Larry and Linda of Colorado and Richard of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Brian Marconi of Cuyahoga Falls, Joann and Michael Thomas of Green, and Susan and Michael Janota of Stow. Harry is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 12:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends at the conclusion of the service. Inurnment of ashes will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry's memory may be made to the Human Society of Greater Akron 4904 Quick Rd.
