Obituary of Ann Overstreet
Ann Overstreet left this earth into the arms of the Lord October 29, 2009.
She was born November 11, 1923 to the late John and Margaret (Marchese) Mastrojohn. A lifetime resident of Akron, she graduated from Garfield High School and worked briefly at Firestone. She retired from the Rempel Toy Manufacturers where she made many lifelong friends. Her passion was sewing and reading.
Left to mourn her passing are four loving, caring and beautiful daughters, Margaret Ann (Bob) Ashley, Joann (Tim) Elavsky, Diane (Bill) Fleming and Maryann Overstreet; brother, John (Betty) Mastrojohn; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew. Our heartfelt thankyou to the Doctors and Nurses in the ER and PCU as well as for Manor Care of Akron. Anns favorite saying since she has been ill is "What a Croc!"--"Yes Mom, we agree!!"
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron where the family will receive friends two hours prior to service. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. (Anthony Funeral Home, 330-724-1281, www.anthonyfh.com)
