Obituary of Dorothy L. Madjerec

Dorothy L. Madjerec, 76, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009. She was born in Akron and lived most of her life in Canal Fulton. She was a former member of Firestone Park Methodist Church and former owner of the Village Inn Restaurant in Doylestown. She spent her free time caring for her great-grandson, Nicholas Bodnar. Special thank you to Hospice of Massillon. She was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Opal (Harles) Reeves; first husband, James Bennett; daughter, Denise Bennett; sisters, Eleanor Rountree and Betty Stitz; and grandson, Paul Zepprnick. She is survived by second husband, Paul Madjerec; sons, Randy (Jackie), Michael, Jim and Bruce Bennett; sisters, Joan Heasley and Donna Hines; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Pastor T. M. Hines officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
