Obituary of David M. Magoulick
David M. Magoulick, 72, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Sunday morning at his residence.
David was born in Akron and was a lifelong area resident who retired recently from Myers Industries. He was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, graduated from South High School, earned a Business Degree from the University of Akron. He also worked for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. and Piedmont Manufacturing. He was well respected in the tire and valve industry, often called to be a representative for the tire and valve industry and held several patents in the tire industry. He enjoyed cooking, loved traveling which included taking him to all 50 states, was an avid reader and crossword player and loved his Saint Bernards.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He leaves his loving wife Susan J. Magoulick of 51 years of marriage, daughters; Michelle (Jerry) Bennett, Perri (Jerry) Graf, and Traci (Robert) Stewart, son Chris (Tara) Magoulick and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel where a Parastas service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church 847 Crouse St. Akron. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials can be given to the Hospice Care Center 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron 44333.
