Obituary of Elsie Irene Harris
Elsie Irene Harris, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009.
She was born in Akron and was an area resident for most of her life. She attended Garfield High School, was a waitress at Thomastown Cafe, an avid bowler and enjoyed time spent at the Sharbot Lake Cottage in Canada.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lester and Minnie (Bertchi) Crawford; daughter, Connie Meszaros; husband of 59 years, Earl; (son)-in-law, George Terhesh, Jr.; brothers, Charles and Raymond Crawford; sister, Lucille Milhoan; and grandson, Jeff Lewis. She is survived by daughters, Jessie Irene Ray and Judy Terhesh; special sister-in-law, Barbara Crawford; grandchildren, George (Cindy) Terhesh, III, Julie (Ed) Wilson, Ron and Lydia Lewis, Earl Ray and Jennifer and Sara; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Fr. Ian Pac-Urar officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church, 3365 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333.
