Obituary of Theresa Lynn Zeigler

Theresa (Terrie) Zeigler, 49, passed away Thursday, August 13, after a long and hard battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Akron, OH to Robert and Roberta Butler. She graduated from Kenmore High School in 1979 and from the Howard Nichols School of Practical Nursing in 1980. She started her career at Akron General Medical Center, moved to Colonial Gardens, and finally the Village of St. Edward. She was very active as an advocate for the patient rights of senior citizens. Theresa was preceded in death by her father Robert Butler and brother Robert Wayne Butler. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Jeffery (Jeff) Zeigler, two girls, Crystal and Sarah, and four grandchildren. Three sisters Debra (James) McCulty, Patricia (Thom) Lee, and Pamela (Robert) Miller. Mother Roberta Butler, mother and father-in-law Ken and Betty Zeigler. Loving nieces, Samantha Lee, Miranda and Emily Dobbins and nephew Rodney Wade. Also many loving cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
