Obituary of Marion Weber
Marion Weber of Akron passed away August 9, 2009. Marion was born in Dubois Pennsylvania on August 2, 1932. After Losing her mother and only sister to TB when she was a small child, she went to live with her Aunt Bert and was raised along with her cousins Skip, John and Sharon Ann Vicklund. After graduating from high school, Marion came to Akron to attend college and Akron became her home. Although she had no children of her own, she loved and nurtured many throughout her lifetime. Marion loved books, music and art, but most of all the people in her life. She will be missed by so many whose lives she enriched. We will especially miss her abundant hugs.
Besides her many friends and family members in Pennsylvania, Marion is survived by her Akron family, Nick and Grace Spada, Margie and Dave Mucklow, Paul and Mary Jane Ellis, Frank and Kelly Spada, and John and Connie Spada. She will be sadly missed by their children, Eric and Teresa Griffin, Sarah and Darryl Gentry, Paul, Sean and Daniel Ellis, Deanna and Kara Spada, and Darren and Tommy Spada. She also leaves to mourn her passing Deenie Topliff, Diane Funk, Karen and Jack Williams and Sue Shield of Medina, and Jim and Jack Topliff. Also, her many friends at Center Towers, especially Geri Nesit, Mirium Goldcrown, and Mary Near.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Marion's life will be held at the Anthony & Biscan Funeral Home (corner of Rt. 241 & Steese Rd. in Green) on Sunday at 3:00 pm, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
