Loretta May Plogger
Loretta, age 74 died peacefully at home on Tuesday, after a courageous fight with a recent illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Theresa Segedy; brothers, George, John, twin Lawrence; and sisters Esther, Helen and her beloved son Rodney.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Ronal, her devoted children, Ronal, Jr, (Richfield), Pamela Black (Ted-Green), Jeffrey (Painsville), and Laurie Houghton (Paul- Richfield). She will greatly be missed by her grandchildren, Brookelyn, Rodney, and Madison Black, Tempest Christopher Houghton, Hanah Houghton, Brooks Imlay, Emily Imlay, Zoe May Imlay , Shawn Plogger, as well as her nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
Loretta was born in Akron and was a graduate of Garfield High School and had lived in Richfield for the past 50 years as a writer and homemaker. Loretta was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the S.S. Keyclub and a member of St. Victor's Church in Richfield for many years. She was an avid antique collector and enjoyed many hobbies such as travel, reading, gardening, knitting, quilting and sewing.
To honor this extraordinary woman, a memorial service/mass will be held at St. Victor's Roman Catholic Church, Richfield on Saturday, August 8, 2009 with calling hours at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
