Obituary of Sandra Kay Dinger

Sandra Kay (Por) Dinger, 52, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Akron on September 27, 1956 and was a medical receptionist in South Carolina. She graduated from Kenmore High School, loved people, life, traveling and especially her dogs. Special thanks to special friends Mary, Faye, Linda, Jo, Connie, Amy and Jenny; and also Family Medicine of Sayebrook, North Carolina, Dr. John Rathbun and his staff, and the Duke Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle (Combs) Por; brother, John Allan Por; niece, Laura Por; and cousin, Linda Cross. She is survived by her sister, Mary Jean (Donald) Scarbrough; nieces, Cherie (Jim) Liddle and Pamela (Tom) Hull, Chrissy Por, Joann Por, Theresa (Phil) Hutchison and Susan (Shawn) Auck; sister-in-law, Prisilla Owens; and great-nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends Monday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS) in Akron.
