Obituary of Katherine Mary Wasil

Katherine Mary Wasil, 86, went home to be with the Lord at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Akron on February 1, 1923 Katherine had been a lifetime area resident. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Barberton. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband George in 1996 and her sisters Billie and Fran. She is survived by her daughters Joyce (Paul) Burkhart of Homerville, OH and Deborah (Chuck) Fox of Braceville, OH; grandchildren Larry and Mike Burkhart, Stephanie Senderak, and Katie Fox; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Colton, and Callee. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00-12:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel 1990 S. Main St., where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
