Obituary of June A Duncan

June A. Duncan, 86, went home to be with the Lord on July 13, at the Ridgewood Place in Copley. Born on June 20, 1923 to the late Abraham and Myrtle McClellan in Jerome, PA, June had been a longtime area resident. She worked in receiving for 19 years for the Sears Roebuck Co. June attended the Northampton United Methodist Church and was a member of the Quirk Center. June loved playing cards and especially loved spending time and being with her family. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband Alexander in 1996; brothers Dwight Pile and George and Paul McClellan and sister Thelma Brubaker. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Larry and Sue Duncan of Stow and daughter Diana Allaman of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Clara and Allen Allaman and close friend Chuck Allaman. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel (at 3rd st., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls). A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Reverend's Eli Dorman and Richard Crabbs officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill.
