Obituary of H. James Lewis
H. James Lewis (Jim) born January 24, 1945, departed this earthly life June 26, 2009. He taught at Richardson School in Cuyahoga Falls, and at Betty Jane, Crouse, Heminger, Innes, and Sam Salem in Akron, retiring in 2008. A special thanks to the Sam Salem staff who were especially supportive and thoughtful this past year. His retirement was spent enduring the effects of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia and liver glucaganoma cancer. He will be missed by his wife of nearly 22 years, Susan, and his daughter, Noelle Elizabeth. Daisy Mae, his bulldog, will be looking for him for days to come. He also is survived by his brother, John (Patrice) of West Monroe, Louisiana; a nephew, Jay of Madison, Mississippi; and a niece, Janice of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Calling hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
