Obituary of Clarence Wendell Faith
Clarence Wendell Faith, 83, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2009. He was born in Dixonville, Pennsylvania and was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church. Mr. Faith was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of Firestone Park V.F.W. Post 3383. He was a self-employed construction contractor for 20 years and retired from Hussman Refrigeration Company. He was preceded in death by wife, Marie (McClellan); and parents, Clarence J. and Grace (Hoover) Faith. He is survived by son, Daniel; daughters, Sherry (Sam) Jacobs, Bonnie (Thomas) Hoskins and Patricia Faith; brother, Mervin (Corinne) Faith; sisters, Helen Long and Ruth Beichler; grandchildren, Danielle (Brian) Davis, Brooke Faith, Samuel, Wendy and Ryan (Marla) Jacobs and Martin and Mario Micale; great-grandchildren, Corey, Samantha, Matthew, Justin, Layne and Michael; and sister-in-law, Alverta Kolarik. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS). Rev. Scott Carr officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park where Firestone Park V.F.W. Post 3383 will also conduct military honors. The family will receive friends Monday, 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
