Obituary of Grace Irene Mullenax

Grace (nee Bogard) (Garlando) Mullenax, age 78, of Akron, Ohio went home to heaven after a short illness on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. She is survived by her children, Mary (Jerry) Goldsmith, Martha Garlando, Marie (Joe) Radish, Brassie Garlando, Paula Mullenax and Shelly Wheeler and Jon Mullenax and Lisa Wright; former daughters-in-law, Tina (Chris) Ocheltree and Janie Garlando. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Joseph, Marissa, Mara, Anthony, Hayden, Holden, Harrison, Melanie and Emily all of whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind an extensive family of sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews along with many friends she has made throughout her lifetime. A Prayer service will be held Friday, 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS) where the family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Deacon Dale Allen officiating. Cremation to follow.
