Obituary of Harland Willys Krause

Harland W. Krause, 91, went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2009. Born in Waseca, Minnesota on September 7, 1917, Harland moved to California as a young man, where he married Helen Smyth and raised his family. Harland worked in the aircraft industry for 38 years. He and Helen then retired to Wildwood, Texas, where they lived until moving to Green, Ohio in 2007 to live with their daughter, Linda Krause. Harland is survived by his loving family: wife, Helen, son, Wayne, daughter-in-law, Paula and daughter, Linda. There will be a memorial service Thursday, May 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lockwood United Methodist Church, 3680 Manchester Rd., Akron, Ohio. Donations in Harland's memory may be made to the Lockwodd United Methodist Church.
