Obituary of Gerald Angeletti
Gerald Angeletti, 74, passed away Friday, May 29, 2009. He was born in Akron and retired from Consolidated Freight in 1996. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. Mr. Angeletti was a former member of the Allenside Athletic Club and Kenmore Italian Club and was a current member of the Civitan Club. He was a former football commissioner for the Highland Park Pee Wee Football Association and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed Hunting and Fishing. He was preceded in death by son, Greg; grandson, James Angeletti; sisters, Delores Lott and Arlene Hofer; brother, Dick; and parents, Glady and Rose. He is survived by wife of 46 years, Joanne; sons, Christopher (Jessica) and Jeffrey (Gail); daughter, Angela (Maury) Petrak; nephew, Rick (Pat) Angeletti; sisters, Annabel Bachtel, Shirley (Gordon) Garn and Gladys (Pete) Mihelich; grandchildren, Issac, Nathaniel and Elizabeth Angeletti, Celeste Petri, Ashley, Alyssa and Regina Angeletti and Brian Fennell; and grandnephew, Ricky Angeletti. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church where the body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Fr. Myron Kerul-Kmec officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
