Joseph J. Bakonyi Joseph was born in Hungary Feb 26, 1917. He was the co-founder and co-owner of Akron Truck Gears in Norton, OH, a member of Coventry Lodge 665 F& AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Akron, Tadmor Temple, Hungarian American Club of Akron, German Family Society of Akron, Hungarian Petrofi Cultural Society of Venice, FL, Hungarian Liberty Club of Plant City, FL. Joseph fled Hungary after the Freedom Fight in 1956 after serving in the Hungarian Army in WW II 1939-48 including over 3 years as a war prisoner in Siberia. He came to America in 1957 and worked for White Motors 1957-71. He is preceded in death by his wife Maria, his sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Peter Kaiser, Anna and Bill Mueller, brother Frank of Hungary and is survived by his daughter Cornelia (Jack) Juron, grandchildren J. Vincent and Natalie Juron and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday 2:00 P.M. Rose Hill Burial Park Masuoleum, 3653 W. Market St.
