Obituary of Anna H. Plefka

Anna H. Plefka of Barberton Feel Asleep In The Lord Sunday May 17, 2009 at home. She was born in St. Clair. PA, December 8, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father & step-sister and her husband Joseph of 53 years. She leaves her daughters Mary Anne Plefka-Weir (Fr. William) of CA, Teresa Plefka-Petroski (James) of Akron; sons Deacon Michael (Vicki) of CA and Joseph at home; grandchildren Catherine, Alexander, Elena Plefka and Nicholas and Alexander Petroski; step-sister Julia Zahoran and sister-in-law Elizabeth Tracey; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday May 19, 6-8 p.m. at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, where Parastas service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the church where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Cemetery or St. Tikhon's Monastery.
