Obituary of Nicholas James Chuma
Nicholas J. Chuma, 49, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 11, 2009. He was born in Akron and was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church where he was a former vice-president of the Church Council and Hall Board and also a member of the RBO. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School; obtained his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Akron and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University. He was the manager of E-Z Machine Company. Nicholas enjoyed baseball, softball and golf. He especially enjoyed watching his children play sports and was an avid Indians, Browns and Cavs Fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas; and wife, Lisa. He is survived by his mother, Florence; son, Nicholas James, II.; daughter, Nicole A.; sister and brother-in-law, Marianne and Jay Russell; and nieces, Christina Russell, Michelle (Devin) Dellagnese and Lisa (Corey) Toth. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S. Cleveland Ave. in Mogadore where he will lie in state one hour prior to service. Very Rev. Fr. Nicholas Wyslutsky officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
