Obituary of Virginia 'Deetsie' Rhoads

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Virginia 'Deetsie' Rhoads, 85, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2009. Born on December 27, 1923 to the late Carl and Bertha Rodgers, Virginia had been a lifetime Cuyahoga Falls resident. She was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1941. Virginia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clifford in 1992 and sister Shirley Dannemiller in 2002. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Roger and Diana Rhoads of Cuyahoga Falls; brother Carl Rodgers and sister Phyllis (Joseph) Labbe. Virginia also is survived by her grandchildren Jeannine Rhoads, Tammy Adams, Michelle Reagan, Gina Lange, Daniel Rhoads, and Lauren Rhoads, as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel (at 3rd st., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls), where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
