Obituary of Johanna Linda Gable

Johanna Gable, 93, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at Barberton Citizens Hospital. She was born March 3, 1916 to Benjamin and Celia (Roberts) DeAngelis in Ottawa, Ill. Johanna and her late husband, Samuel founded Gable Auto Parts and Machine which she continued to own and operate with her children since his death in 1979. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, the Allenside Athletic Club, Kenmore Senior Citizens and Coventry AARP. Mrs. Gable was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara in 1950 and her brothers Vito and Bert and sister Iva; and is survived by her children Donna (Larry) Davis of Massillon, Rick (Barb) of New Franklin, Phil of New Franklin, and Jenifer (Paul) Sotak of Green; grandchildren Gary (Tressa) Kelly, Michael and Matthew Gable and Meghan and Andy Sotak; brother-in-law Clarence (Ann) Gable of Barberton. The family will receive friends on Monday 4 to 8pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS).
