Obituary of Thomas Richard Morris

Thomas R. Morris, 61, passed away Wednesday March 11, 2009. He was born in Akron. Thomas was a combat veteran of the Army serving during the Vietnam War. After his service time, Thomas spent many years as a cook on off shore oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by parents Ray and Dorothy; brother Charles Mo. He is survived by daughter Tiffany; brothers Michael (Janet), David (Rosa); Aunt Jolene Morris and nephew David Farhat; and many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation to follow services with burial of ashes at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
