Obituary of Charles michael Clements
Lake - Charles Michael 'Chuck' Clements, 58, died unexpectedly Friday, January 16, 2009.
He was born March 8, 1950 to Charles R. and Annabelle (Bussey) Clements in Akron and grew up in Green, Ohio. He attended St. Francis Grade School and Hoban High and was a 1968 graduate of Green High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973 on the JFK Aircraft Carrier.
Chuck was employed at Firestone Plant 2 and year Goodyear Aircraft which became Loral, K & F Industries, Aircraft Braking Systems and finally Meggitt where he was currently employed.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 3O years, Andrea (Angie); children Timothy (Heidi) of Bluffton, SC, Jason of Uniontown, Sherry (William) Hickox of West Farmington and Julie (Brad) Birchfield of Dayton; grandchildren Tommy Crawford, Alexandrea Clements and a third eagerly awaited grandchild due in May; parents Charles R. and Annabelle of Green; brothers and sisters Rodney of Oakland, Cal., Steve (Melissa) of Canton, Christine (Virgil) Speelman of Akron, Larry (Susan) of Jackson, John (Barb) of SC, Andrew (Cassi) of Tallmadge and Anne (Russell) Stowe of Green; father-in-law Lee Jackson of Akron; brother-in-law Steve (Sharon) Jackson of Akron; uncles Walter (Dee) Clements, Bill (Jacque) Clements, Robert (Carol) Bussey, Patrick (Jill) Bussey, and David (Dee) Bussey; Many nieces, nephews and cousins; and was preceded in death by his grandparents Sampson and Martha Clements, Loyal and Anna Bussey; aunts and uncles Martha Wurtz, infant Raymond Bussey and David M. Bussey.
Chuck was devoted to his wife and family. He treasured long-time friends and was committed to his work, always a priority. He will be missed by all who know him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., in the City of Green. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 4 to 8pm at the Anthony and Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (Corner of Steese and Massillon Roads in Green) and Wednesday 9-10 am at the church.
