Obituary of Heinrich A. L. Hartge

Henry Hartge, 87, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Center. He was born in Eindhoven, Holland and came to the United States in 1957. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation and attended St. Eugene Catholic Church. Mr. Hartge was an avid 3-D woodworker and soccer fan. He was preceded in death by son, John W.; and daughters, Bernadette Kearns and Cathy Patrick. He is survived by wife of 61 ½ years, Johanna; son, Henry (Vicki); daughters, Anna Maria Hartge and Pam (Jay) Lawrentz; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church. Fr. Neil Crosby officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls (one Block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St).
